Postage and Shipping Rates

Effective January 2, 2015

No increase was announced by the US Post Office, rates remain at 2014 levels.

UPS and FedEx announced a 4.9% increase on all domestic and international shipping rates as of January 1, 2015.

New rating system is announced for all domestic and international shipments which could substantially increase shipping fees.

First-Class, letter-sized (folded) mail

Effective January 26, 2014 (No increase in January 2015)
  • 1 oz. or less $0.49
  • 2 oz. or less $0.70
  • 3 oz. or less $0.91
  • 3.5 oz. or less $1.12

First-Class flat mail

Effective January 26, 2014 (No increase in January 2015)
Flat mail is an envelope between 11.5" and 15" long, x between 6.125" and 12" high, and not more than 13 ounces in weight.
  • 1 oz. or less $0.98
  • 2 oz. or less $1.19
  • 3 oz. or less $1.40
  • 4 oz. or less $1.61
  • 5 oz. or less $1.82
  • 6 oz. or less $2.03
  • 7 oz. or less $2.24
  • 8 oz. or less $2.45
  • 9 oz. or less $2.66
  • 10 oz. or less $2.87
  • 11 oz. or less $3.08
  • 12 oz. or less $3.29
  • 13 oz. or less $3.50
Items weighing more than 13 ounces should be brought to the Services Window the the staff will assist you in determining the best way to mail.

International First-Class mail 

Effective January 26, 2014 (No increase in January 2015) 
  • 1 oz. or less to Canada - $1.15 
  • 1 oz. or less to Mexico - $1.15 
  • 1 oz. or less to all other countries - $1.15 
  • 1.1 oz. to 2 oz. to Canada - $1.15 
  • 1.1oz. to 2 oz. to Mexico - $1.72 
  • 1.1 oz. to 2 oz. to other countries depends on the zone. Bring the piece to the Service Window and the staff will assist in determining the correct rate for mailing.

What is the postage rate for express mail? (Next day delivery)

Express flat rate starts at $19.95, and increases based on weight and destination of the parcel. Bring your package to the Service Window and the staff will assist in determining the correct rate for shipment. 

What is the priority mail and how much does it cost? 

Effective January 26, 2014 (No increase in January 2015) 

Priority Mail is mail that is important, but does not require next day service. This service offers a tracking number with a delivery standard of 1 - 3 days nation-wide. There is no minimum weight requirement. This mail receives special attention in the U.S. Post Office, but there are no delivery guarantees. 

Priority flat rate starts at $5.60, bring your package to the Service Window and the staff will assist in determining the correct rate for shipment.
